stewed apples

Ingredients

9 apples, peeled, cored and quartered⁠
1 tsp ground cinnamon⁠
1 cm grated ginger⁠
1 cup water

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a small pot⁠
  2. Bring to the boil then turn down to simmer for 45 minutes or until the apples have a gel-like sheen.⁠

The less you stir them, the more chunky they will be.⁠
